Vietnam: Dam Sen Theme Park in Saigon

One of the many attractions and places that we have visited in Vietnam, I would say that Dam Sen Theme Park is one of the places that I've enjoyed the most. Located at District 11 in Saigon, Dam Sen is a large-scale park which is a very convenient place to visit for locals and tourists alike.  I've heard that prenuptial photo and video coverage is being done here as the park offers a variety of nice views including various gardens and landscapes and plant art as featured one here below:

You will never ran out of interesting subjects for your photo shoots as large statues of Buddha and other symbolic figures are abundant in various colors and designs.

Inside the park, you can see many interesting views that can capture your heart. Gardens, fun statues, plant arts, rock formations and other nature-friendly views are within your reach.

This place cannot be compared to Disneyland at some point but there is enough reason to be there and learn a part of Vietnamese culture and traditions.

Who says that this place is just for kids?

The Ice Kingdom

Water Lilies all over the lake

There is also an animal show which you can see and enjoy during the scheduled time and the entrance fee is not too bad.  If I can remember it right, it's less than 2 dollars.

The admission fee is not that bad for such a fantastic place.
About 50,000 dong per head? Not bad eh....

kids always want to have some pictures taken with  the locals.  (Lol)

Can't have enough of the photo shoots....

Dam Sen Theme Park should really be included in your itinerary when you visit Saigon.  It is a large scaled park that's not only meant for kids but adults as well.  The many interesting places inside the theme park is enough reason to stay.  Park, gardens, zoo, water park, restaurants, Ice Palace, animal show are some of the many things you can see inside the theme park that will keep you entertained the whole day.

A must see!

Zoobic Zafari Adventure

I remembered that this is our first visit in this zoo where everyone is welcome to encounter, as well as to interact with their trained animals. Zoobic Safari is known as the Only Tiger Safari in the Philippines. It is one of the tourist attractions you will find at Subic Bay Freeport's Forest Adventure. Everyone can expect an astonishing sight of diverse exotic animals roaming and frolicking in their natural habitat.

Zoobic Safari has many attractions that you shouldn't miss! One of its main attractions is the Zoobic Park where you can experience to have a look at some wild and domesticated animals like Camels, Bear cats, Parakeets and more.

The Rodent World where they feature an amazing collection of rodents.

Below is the Animal MuZOOeum where it features rare collections of preserved animal skin and bone collections.

This is a real preserved tiger.

The Tiger Safari in which you will experience a long ride in their Safari Jeep while outside, you can see lots of wild animals in an open area.  But to enter in an area where wild tigers are released from captivity, you have to take another ride via a well enclosed vehicle so you can be protected from the sudden attack of these wild animals.   You can request to feed the tigers by paying for some raw chickens which are being sold near the entrance.

This one is the Croco Loco where you can have a chance to feed the crocodiles.

 The Croco Cafe.

These are some of our pictures taken when we explored the place.

We also had a chance to have a picture with the aetas after
their short musical performance.

Other attractions are the Savannah, Serpentarium, Close-Encounter and Bird Walk.

This is a guided tour that lasts about 2 and a half hours. Well, after a long trip to this fantastic zoo, all I can say is that this place is a MUST see for everyone! :)

Zoobic Zafari is located inside the Subic Bay Freeport Zone's
Ilanin Forest.  It's open daily from 8AM to 4PM.

Entrance Fee for Adults  :  Php495
Entrance Fee for Children:  Php395

Note:  Children 4 ft and above will be given an adult rate.

They are now offering Zoobic Night Safari and entrance fee is Php595 for adults and Php495 for children.
