Siam Ocean World Bangkok

Before I took my flight back to the Philippines last Oct. 17, I decided to stay at Bangkok for one day for a much needed rest and to take the opportunity to see more of Bangkok before I finally say goodbye to Cambodia (my work place) and Thailand (my favorite destination for a quick get away). I've actually planned to visit the floating market and China town but the weather did not allow me to do so.  Since it's raining that day, I just decided to hop from one mall to the other, at least it would be indoors, so I don't have to worry about the rain.  Good thing that there is a tour agency inside the hotel where I've stayed, and knowing that it is much cheaper to buy a ticket from the hotel's tour agency rather than the place itself, I've decided to buy an entrance ticket to Siam Ocean World

Siam Ocean World is located at the ground floor of Siam Paragon Mall.  This underground aquarium was believed to be one of the largest in South East Asia and a house to more than 30,000 creatures from various depths and aquatic regions across the world.

Since it was a weekday when I visited Siam Ocean World, I was surprised with a big crowd. There were lots of students on educational tour, that's why there was a long queue at the entrance.  Good thing that I've already booked a ticket so it's easier for me to get inside without having to fall in line.

Here are some of the pics that I took inside the Siam Ocean World:

Opening Hours: 10:00 - 21:00 daily
Location: Basement floor, Siam Paragon, Siam
How to get there: Take Exit 5 from the BTS Siam Station, which provides direct access to Siam Paragon.
